This site and the guidelines within were originally developed by the Metadata Working Group, which reported to the Emory Libraries Cabinet, a cross-unit body including representation of Directors from the Libraries at Emory, Academic Technology Services, Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (ECDS), and works closely with University IT Services and Research Solutions.
The Metadata Working Group included representation from ECDS, Rose Library, Woodruff Library, Law School Library, and Emory University IT Application Development. Additional stakeholders and sub-groups included representatives from Emory Libraries' Core Systems team, the Pitts Theology Library, the Oxford College Library, the Carlos Museum and Emory’s Department of Art History, who support/utilize shared digital asset management systems and have contributed to the Working Group’s guidelines.
The former Metadata Working Group currently operates as the Preservation Repository Subcommittee of the Metadata Policy Committee.
